MARVIN BUTLER

                          Leslie Marvin Butler, 79, of Glasgow died at 10:25 a.m. Nov. 18, 2007,
                          at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. The Glasgow 
                          Junction native was a retired manager at Wal-Mart. He was a
                          member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he was an usher,
                          and a World War II Army veteran. He was a son of the late
                          Johnnie Butler and Velma Shaw Butler Britt. He was preceded in
                          death by three brothers, James Earl Butler, Martin Butler and Henry
                          Butler. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral 
                          Home, Smiths Grove chapel, with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. 
                          Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and is from 9 a.m. to 
                          11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy
                          may take the form of contributions to the charity of your choice.
                          Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Irene Lockhart Butler; a son, 
                          Dwayne Butler of Glasgow; two daughters, Elaine Butler of Frankfort 
                          and Jane Hines and her husband, Mike, of Winchester; three
                          grandchildren, Michael Hines and his wife, Dana, of Bardstown, 
                          Mandy Hines of Kokomo, Ind., and Matt Hines of Winchester;
                          three great-grandchildren, Marcus, Emily and Kayleigh Hines, all
                          of Bardstown; two sisters, Ann Horne and Leora Smith, both of 
                          Bowling Green; and three sisters-in-law, Norma Butler of Smiths
                          Grove, Charlotte Butler of Fairfax, Va., and Ruby Butler of
