Kathleen Skaggs Rhea

                     Kathleen Skaggs Rhea, 71, of Brownsville died at
                     6:10 a.m. March 9, 2008, at a Brownsville nursing
                     home.  The Edmonson County native was a
                     homemaker and member of Beaver Dam Baptist
                     Church.  She was a daughter of the late Paul Skaggs
                     and Josie Browning Skaggs and the wife of the late
                     James Wilton Rhea.  She was preceded in death by
                     a brother, Paul Skaggs Jr. 

                    Funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son
                    Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, with burial in
                    Hawkins Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
                    Tuesday at the funeral home. 

                    Survivors include a son, Randy Rhea and his wife, 
                    Connie, of Bowling Green; a granddaughter, Rachel
                    Rhea of Bowling Green; four sisters, Elladean Cates, 
                    Barbara Cowles and her husband, Donald, Carlene
                    Ray and her husband, Morton, and Joan Blanton 
                    and her husband, Mike, all of Brownsville; three 
                    brothers, Carlton Skaggs and Wavie Skaggs and his
                    wife, Lynn, all of Brownsville, and Kerry Skaggs and
                    his wife, Phyllis, of Louisville; and several nieces and
                    nephews.
