Bessie Susan Manco Jones

                          Bessie Susan Manco Jones, 100, of Bowling Green died at 9:25
                          a.m. Nov. 15, 2007, at her residence. The Edmonson County
                          native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late
                          David “Dave” Manco and Letha Denham Manco and the
                          wife of the late E.P. “Cooch” Jones. She was preceded in
                          death by a daughter, Pansy Evelyn Jones; a son, Archie Jones;
                          a brother, James Robert Manco; and five sisters, Lula Resch,
                          Mae Wilson, Velma Phelps, Elizabeth Doyle and Josie Jones.

                          Funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Penns Chapel Church of Christ, 
                          where she was a member, with burial in Penns Chapel
                          Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from
                          9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home,
                          Bowling Green chapel.  Expressions of sympathy may take the
                          form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 5872
                          Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104. 

                          Survivors include four sons, Clifford Marvin Jones, Mac Jones
                          and his wife, Louise, and Raymond Jones and his wife, Jean,
                          all of Bowling Green, and Elbert Jones Jr. and his wife, Verna,
                          of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three sisters, Louise and Earline Wilson,
                          both of Bowling Green, and Mary Pennington of McCordsville,
                          Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; nine great-
                          great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including
                          a nephew, Henry Resch of Citrus Springs, Fla., and several
                          great-nieces and great-nephews.
